Trevor M. Gomberg

Trevor M. Gomberg concentrates his practice in complex business, contract, trade secret, construction, and aircraft redelivery disputes, with particular experience in all phases of the rapidly evolving field of electronic discovery.

He has successfully litigated numerous matters on behalf of Fortune 500 and other corporate clients in federal and state courts throughout the United States (including the famous U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia “Rocket Docket”), as well as in commercial arbitrations before all of the major domestic arbitration bodies, and internationally under LCIA and UNCITRAL rules.

Mr. Gomberg has significant trial experience, including as co-lead chair, in multi-million dollar disputes. Among his noteworthy cases, Mr. Gomberg acted as assistant trial counsel in the firm’s successful U.S. District Court, Northern District of California defense jury verdict in the matter Kalitta Air, L.L.C. v. Central Texas Airborne Systems Inc. in which our client’s potential exposure was $2 billion.

Super Lawyers Magazine has listed him as a “Rising Star” for Business Litigation in the New York City Metro area, for ten years running. Long Island Pulse Magazine has also listed him as a “Legal Eagle”.

He earned his law degree from Albany Law School, cum laude, where he concentrated his studies in business law, with honors, and served as Senior Editor of the Albany Law Review. He earned his B.S. in Finance from the Binghamton University School of Management, magna cum laude, where he was a PricewaterhouseCoopers Scholar, and recipient of the coveted SUNY Chancellor’s Award.

Previously, Mr. Gomberg worked in the corporate practice group of a large upstate New York law firm, and served as an extern to The Honorable Thomas J. McAvoy, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of New York, and The Honorable David R. Homer, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of New York.

Mr. Gomberg is active in Jewish causes and has served on the Board of Directors of Hillel at Binghamton, a non-profit organization.
